2 Misses and a Hit

I am using my products to make sure I keep the products that I will be using. Sometimes I rediscover a old favorite, other times I use something I thought I loved but it turns out it wasn’t actually good. So this week I’ve rediscovered a product and I am getting rid of two that didn’t make the cut.

Miss – This is an old Morphe brush that I actually never used, and when I went to use this I noticed it was not going to work. This is supposed to be a detailed liner but as you can see I won’t be using this because the bristles are just horrid. The brush has always been this way and I don’t know why but I never tossed it. I am now.

Miss – AOA Drop Liquid Foundation, at the price of $1.88 I really wanted to love this foundation. Despite the price it’s in a glass bottle, the dropper works really well and it looks pretty great. However, it just doesn’t work for me. I don’t like the way it feels on my face, it’s pretty heavy despite being very liquidy (that’s not a word…) and thin. It just doesn’t feel nice.

Hit – So I’ve given up on most glitter liners. I haven’t found one that works well, but when I used this elf stardust glitter eyeliner I was so pleasantly surprised. This actually worked! It went on very smoothly, not at all thin and watery. Can’t wait to experiment with this liner, and at $4 it’s really affordable.
