Wellness Wednesday; Meditating

Considering Everything that’s going on, the best thing to do is remain calm. I’ve been wanting to start meditating for a while now, and thought now would be the most perfect time.

I have trouble sleeping at night, sometimes it’s my overactive mind not letting me get the rest I need, other times I fall asleep but wake up immediately for no reason.

There are a couple of ways I hope meditating before I sleep should help me.

Settle my mind– Like I said sometimes my mind just won’t shut the hell up. Hopefully meditating before sleeping will allow my mind to settle down and let me fall asleep and stay asleep.

Me to my mind

Calm my nerves – As I age I find myself getting nervous and anxious maybe because I am not as naive as I used to be, maybe I just need to breathe. Either way I hope meditating would just help me not want to freak out for no reasons.

Help my Focus – I really find myself losing focus of myself and my goals. I think this is mostly due to focusing so hard on school for so long that I forgot what it was like before school. With this being my last semester [hopefully] I want to start focusing on life again.
