Fashion Friday #7: Diamond Dress #OOTD

While I love the design of this dress (Bright colors make me go GAGA), it just didn’t fit right. Normally I am a size M-L depending on the brand, Fabric, Fit, etc. This dress was sized an XL, and I seemed to be lacking in a certain chest area to completely pull this off. This has happened multiple times in my life, I seemed to always be lacking in my chest area. I can be a little self conscious about it, especially growing up around women who seemed to all be DD’s. As I grow older I can appreciate the lack of medical problems I have due to my smaller size.

This dress just was not doing me any favors. You could tell it was just slightly too big for me, which made me sad because I just love the fun colorful design. I’ve been trying to lean away from darker colors like blacks, blues, and browns at least for spring and summer months.

I feel like my picture taking is getting better, I switched from my phone to an actual DSLR, which I think captures the colors of the outfits better. I still have to work on my face because some of the faces that I make are just awful. I frown alot or look confused. It’s actually kinda funny when I go through and pick out the pictures to post. I take about 70-90 pictures and only post 5.

I also decided to use these pictures when I am selling the item that I wear. I think they grab more attention than my normal pictures and I think that people like to see how it looks on someone so they can figure out how to style or wear the outfit. Let me know what you think of the dress and my pictures.
