Happy National Lipstick day, so in honor of today I am sharing a lip gloss (it’s basically the same right?). This lip gloss is from my most recent e.l.f. cosmetics haul, and I am finally getting around to trying everything out and experimenting with the products. The Highshine Liquid Lip Gloss in Bitten Pink only cost me $1.60 during the summer sale but only retails for $4 normally so it a bad price to pay.

This richly pigmented high-shine liquid lip gloss is enriched with Vitamin E to help hydrate and nourish the lips. The unique curve of the applicator expertly glides over the contours of the lips for an extra glossy shine.

The gloss is a cute neutral pink color that is perfect for any occasion, and doesn’t look awkward with my pale skin, it is pretty pigmented so I didn’t have to worry about that. The tip of the applicator is curved which helps with the application of the gloss, something I didn’t actually know when I purchased the gloss.

The gloss was a lot thicker than I thought it was going to be, but it didn’t feel sticky which is a plus. It is a bit moisturizing, which I like but in order to wear it your lips need to be smooth because I found that it sort of highlights any imperfections that you may have. I am not sure if this is due to the color or the formula.

This is not very long lasting, especially if you are drinking or eating something as it will transfer. Overall, for the price this is a great lip gloss. I love it for everyday use, and I think it will be perfect for the coming fall season.
