My quest for budget beauty has recently taken me to my local drugstore to see what they have available and what I can afford. Drugstore makeup has come a long way and I tend to really dive in and see what they have improved (or need to improve on). When I say this Covergirl Reign eyeshadow palette I blinked because not only does it look high end, but the colors look bright and pigmented. Plus, It only costs $14.98.
Way to go Covergirl!

There are 4 other palettes to choose from (named Revolution, Ascension, and Overthrown), but ultimately I settled on Reign because it seemed more suited for my eyecolor. This is not stopping me from wanted to buy the rest though, but money does not grow on trees so while this is affordable I do not have around $60 to just throw around.

The colors are beautiful and at first glance this palette is giving me way more than I thought it would. The only thing that bothers me are the fact that not all shadows are sized the same, why they decided to do that I have not idea.

When swatched the colors are very pigmented and very pretty and shimmery. I do wished they included a couple of matte shades to balance it out, but I am not complaining.

This palette is Cruelty Free and once again only $15. I haven’t had the time to really delve into the palette and see if the shades are easily blendable, if they have a lot of fall out, or if they last a full work day. However, my first impression is good.
