I don’t usually go for the beauty section when I shop at dollar tree, mostly because we have been taught to be cautious of beauty products that cost a dollar. However, lately I find myself being drawn to lower priced cosmetics. The beauty industry has really raised their game, so I decided to try out a couple of dollar items. I started with this Nude Palette from L.A. Colors because I recognized the brand, and I know it is reliable.
The palette is filled with 12 neutral tone matte shades that range from a off white to a black. The colors are surprisingly pigmented, and easily blend-able. With primer they last a full work day even on oily eyelids like mine. The applicator is pretty basic just the spongy stick most inexpensive shadows come with, I mostly use my own brushes but if you don’t have any these would work just fine. The shadows do have a lot of fallout when applying and it can be a little messy if your not careful.
Due to the fact that I am so pale the lighter colors do not show on my skin very well, but for $1 this palette isn’t too bad for everyday use.
