I was finally able to sign up for Play! by Sephora and I am so excited. It’s been a while since I’ve gotten a beauty subscription, mostly due to limited funds, but am I slowly working back up again.
What’s in the box!?
This month’s theme is Get in the Glow, which focuses on finding a natural shimmer and glow to your normally dull complexion. Considering we are starting to transition from winter to spring I really like the theme to this box. I really love the small poster they include in the box that explains what products you got, why they included it, and how to apply it. It’s very easy to read, I don’t have to get my glasses or squint to read it.
I really love the bag that’s included with the box, but I have always had a thing for bags in beauty boxes.
Glamglow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer. This is suppose to help your complexion while giving you skin a bit of shine to take the dullness away. I really like the idea of this and hopes it works well. I’ve never used Glamglow before but I’ve seen them everywhere and I’ve been wanting to try one of their products for a while. Excited I get to finally try one of their products.
Benefit Cosmetics Watt’s up! Cream-to-Powder highlighter I’ve used this before as I got it a long time ago in a Birchbox box. I ended up losing it and I was so sad since I used it almost everytime I wore make up. I love this stuff so the fact that I got another sample of it is great!
Josie Maran Surreal Skin Argan Finishing Balm while it reads that you can use it as a primer or for a ‘finishing touch’ I think I want to use it as a finisher. I’ve never used anything like that before so I am super excited to try it out and see how it works. Apparently it’s a cream that you can tap onto your face with your fingers or a sponge. Kinda weird but I dig it.
Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow stick in Golden Pink While pink is in the color name it looks more gold than anything. I didn’t do a swatch of it because I want to try it out and see how it looks at a later time and maybe review it. While I’ve used a couple of Bobbi Brown products before I’ve never used a shadow so I am super interested in it.
Living Proof Full Dry Volume Blast I am constantly having flat hair problems. If I curl my hair it falls flat in about an hour, if I brush my hair it goes limper than a naked man in the arctic, it’s not fair. I am so glad that Sephora included this in their box, the one thing I am worried about however is the that the product is oil-based so I hope it does not turn my hair in a oily mess.
Chloe Fleur de Parfum honestly I am not so happy about this product, but that does not mean I won’t try it out. I tend to have allergy problems to floral scented perfumes and this is supposed to be floral but it also has top notes of Lemon essence so I am hoping it’s not too overbearing
Overall I am happy with this months box. What do you think of the products in Play! by Sephora march box? Have you used any of them?
