I’ve been gone for a while, not because I wanted to trust me. There were just some real-life issues that got in the way. One was that my depression had hit an all-time low causing me to lack the energy to do anything, much less get up in the morning. My medication is really helping me out so I got that under control now. Also, school was just really breaking my back this semester, I feel like I have so much homework and exams I just can’t focus. Plus I kinda get test stressed and well it freaks me out.
Another huge thing is that we are currently trying to buy a house. Anyone who has ever done this will know exactly how much time (and stress!) goes into this. We put an offer on a house and hopefully we will have it by the 31st! I am seriously so excited (and scared). If everything goes smoothly I’ll hopefully be posting pictures soon! I have such big plans and I really can’t wait to share with you all!
One thing that I am doing to sort of help me get back in the blogging rhythm is I made a Beauty Instagram! It’s a lot easier for me to post pictures than plan update and write a blog. Doing this though has re-established my love for beauty and I think I’ve sort of stepped away from that and well I need to start getting back on that.
I am still debating if I want to add fashion to this or not. What do you all think?
This week has been productive but crazy and I can’t say I’m not glad that it’s almost over. Despite this feelings there has been some great moments, and I will share some of those moments as well as just things I have enjoyed this past week.
I’ve always wanted one of these planners, and my husband brought me home one as a surprise, I’ll definitely post a review and a closer look at the actual planner.
we went out to eat for my husbands birthday and got this beautiful sashimi platter. I felt bad that our waitress had to carry it though.
I’ve gotten to enjoy getting time to read, especially since I’ve been scheduling properly so far. let’s hope I don’t slip up
I’ve actually been enjoying this semester at school and I hope this lasts until I graduate, my subjects are more appealing.
I’ve been really enjoying my bookstagram account and the community. This is not a shameful self-promotion, I really do love this account. It let’s me be creative and do insta challenges.
What did you love this week?
I have been so active on instagram this month due to I spend a majority of it packing up my house and being miserable. Hopefully I will be able to be more active once this moving stuff is done with. However if you would like to follow me on instagram I would love to discover new people and be insta-friends! That was lame. I’m lame sorry.
Things I did this month besides moving
- Neighbors house caught on fire. (no one got hurt!)
- Drank some beer
- Last day of work
- Purchase some cold weather clothes (hopefully on the blog soon)
- Watched my cat be weird
How did your month go?
Is it too late now to say sorry?
I know I am extremely late with this post but honestly I have been so busy. My house is in a complete mess since I am in the middle of packing things and this whole timeline thing is stressful. We have a month left before we will be in California and it’s nerve racking.
I can say that I will try to post, I actually have some free time to sit and write blog posts but it would be everyday but at least twice or Thrice a week.
Things last month:
My Nephews 5th Birthday
My Nephew Harvest Festival at his school
Being Addicted to Pumpkin Spice Everything
Loving on some Cold Brew coffee from Secret Squirrel
What did you do in October?

September was a interesting month for me, I went on vacation, had my 13th/3rd anniversary, and pretty much sprinkled Tesla and Mordechai in when I could.
Hope you enjoy and don’t you forget to follow me on Instagram
It’s April! This Life in color will not be a monthly Instagram look (although all the pictures on here are all on my instagram Follow me HERE) No instead I will be sharing with you all my Napa Valley Vacation.
But first, we cruised down the scenic route and visited Solvang where we had Danish Pancakes at Paula’s Pancake house.
My husband had the blueberry, while I had apple pie. OMG they were so good. Definitely stop by if you ever find yourself in Solvang.
We then cruised up the 101, where there were alot of scenery however made the drive so much more longer than if we just took the 5.
We however came upon San Francisco where the Traffic was a plenty, and (to me at least) looked just like LA.
But we finally arrived at our hotel in Napa, which was the Hilton Gardens. I was too exhausted from the drive to take a picture so sorry about that.
WE took the Napa Valley Wine Train on our first day, which was so fun and the food was great.
I suggest doing the train if your in Napa.
We also did some Wine Tours, but my Fave was Robert Mondavi Winery. The tour was very intimate as we were the last tour of the day and it was just my husband and I.
This was so fun, I just wish I took more pictures, but I was a bit too busy Drinking Wine and having fun.
Let me share with you all how my November went!
