#SkincareSaturday Dewytree Black Honey Sheet Mask

After I use any clay masks or Detox masks I always use a Sheet Mask. It is typically the best way to moisturize my face after going through a harsher mask. After using the Pink Clay mask I picked this beauty up to try out.

There was so much essence in the pack, and when I took the mask out it was drenched. This of course made the mask a bit hard to unfold as it kept sticking together. It also made it ridiculously easy to stay on my face.

While it fit pretty well over most of my face, it did not cover my nose at all, which was a bit disappointing as my nose is usually the place that I have no problem with. I left the mask on for around 30 mins and it still was pretty wet when I took it off. My face felt amazing though! so soft, smooth and hydrated. I think I dare even say one of the best sheet masks I have ever used. I know Kohls sells this for around $3.99 which isn’t too bad. I will definitely be buying more once I run out of masks.

#SampleSunday Sand & Sky Pink Clay Mask

I had really high hopes for this mask. I’ve been seeing Sand & Sky Purifying Pink Clay Mask everywhere and I really want to try it. I finally got a sample in my Birchbox. I used it on a particularly bad skin week, the winter weather was especially brutal on my skin and I could physically feel my skin becoming horrid.

I was really surprised at how runny this was. Typically clay masks are thick and smooth.

The mask did go on smooth, but I was surprised at how light the pink coloring was, it looked always white. It came off super easy, so I didn’t have to scrub at my skin.

Sand & Sky boasts that this mask reduces pores, brightens & detoxifies skin. I can say that my skin looked amazing after use. It pretty much caused my brittle, cracked, dry and porous skin to do a 360. I am seriously debating if $50 is worth it for this mask because I really liked it and may purchase it. I would love to see how this mask does after multiple uses.

#SkincareSaturday Rose Face Mask by Fresh

So in my quest to use up all my samples, I discovered that I had this face mask. I’ve been wanting to try this for a long time, so happy I have it. So it has a heavy floral smell but I think you guys already figured that out.

Made with Rosewater, cucumber, algae, and green tea this is supposed to sooth, tone, brighten, hydrate and protect. I used it after a long bath after washing my face. It was cold on my face and did feel good. My face was smooth too! however it really irritated my sensitive skin, I ended up getting red bumps that took a couple of days to go away. I am so disappointed that I am going to have to toss this out. I was thinking about trying it again, just to make sure but I really do not want to experience that again.

If you used this before let me know if it worked, I’m really interested to see how it worked. It’s a bit pricey 100ml for $62 so I guess I’m a bit happy I didn’t fall in love with it considering.

Sample Sunday: Tony Moly I’m Real Sheet Mask

It’s been a while since I’ve used a sheet mask. I just haven’t had the time to really relax like I need, but this Sunday I made time to do a little pampering with TONYMOLY Broccoli vitality mask. I wanted a pick me up for my face since I feel it has a bit dull. The mask itself didn’t really smell like anything which I loved, it was also was very gentle and hydrating on my skin. I know I need to do this a lot more, especially since it’s summer and I’ve been working out everyday and my face gets dirty and clogged.

Sample Sunday

I haven’t done this in a while and I am so excited! I started this blog doing beauty and it is one thing I really don’t think I’ll ever stop doing.

I got this no:hj Healing Anti-pore Mask in one of my Beautique Mask Maven bags and it is great and exactly what I have been needing. I have problem with the pores on my nose the most and this sheet mask while it did minimize my pores it did not get rid of it all, which I didn’t think it would. I really liked it though and it made my face super soft and smooth. I’ll definitely want to try another one.

Sample Sunday Ladykin GreenHarmony Pumpkin Mask Pack

Welcome to another Sample Sunday, this time I tried Ladykin Green Harmony Pumkin Mask Pack. You can check out last weeks Sample Sunday HERE

Honestly I expected this to smell more like Pumpkin than it did. It really didn’t smell like anything. This does come in multiple flavors, scents, fruits? Plus it’s only $3 so the price isn’t bad. This was a pretty good way to moisturize my skin after the winter chill has been drying it out. It suppose to soothe and soften skin which it absolutely did. However it also said to have anti-inflammatory properties that I didn’t actually see too much  of which was disappointing. for my sensitive skin it didn’t hurt it in any way. If you are suffering from dried skin this is for you. however if your skin is oily I wouldn’t recommend. If you have combination skin I would only apply it to the dry spots. I wish the container was resealable since it had way too much for my face and I would have loved to safe it for another day.

Sample Sunday The Yeon Jeju Energy Pack

I am so glad to be doing this again it’s been a while and honestly I’ve just been so busy that I couldn’t pamper myself like I usually do, but it’s back now!

This sample was from one of Mask Mavens (which I miss but I’m way too poor to have another subscription). This Sunday it is The Yeon Jeju Enery Live Pack.

When I first used the product I didn’t notice the Cooling part on the package and well it’s super cold winter up here in Idaho, this is not a good combination. It was so cold on my face, plus they had these pulp like things in the mask which I think I was suppose to rub in, I’m not too sure. This is suppose to Moisturize your skin while soaking in loads of vitamins. I kept the mask on for about 15 mins and then rinsed my face. It came off pretty easy however I didn’t feel too much in the way of moisture. My skin did have a slight glow to it and it felt pretty good. I am thinking this would make a good addition to a summer skincare routine, but it didn’t do enough for my face for the winter.

I’ve read that so many people like the smell and I really really don’t. I will note that I am not a chocolate lover so that could be the reason. Another thing I did not like was the fact that you need a second ingredient (Aloe gel) to make the mask, I wish I was told this before hand but I had some already so I was lucky. Mixing the two together with 1 Tablespoon of the dry mask was easy and really not as messy as I thought it was going to be, The mask mixed together well and spread across my face smoothly. I waited around 10 minutes for my mask to dry. I think because of the Aloe gel that it felt really cool on my face which is a plus with the end of summer heat we are getting down here. Wiping the mask off was easy and it came off surprisingly smooth, there was one thing I was not expecting though.

My face was so red! I know it warns that your face will be a bit red, however I was not prepared! It looked like I had a huge sunburn, and since I have a round face I literally looked like a tomato! The one thing I can say is that at least it didn’t hurt like a sunburn, it wasn’t irritated or painful, however my face did feel hot. If you are planning on going out after using the mask I really urge against it, I did this at night before bed so I am not really sure how long it took to go away, but I can tell you it was more than an hour. My skin is very sensitive so that could have been why it took so long.

My face was super soft though, almost like new skin! I loved how my skin felt I just wish it didn’t cause my face to turn all red. I am not sure how I feel about the mask, on one hand it gives me great skin and on the other… Tomato face.

*This item was given to me for a fair and honest review*

This comes in 8 packets and each packet is one mask. In my opinion you can totally use each packet at least twice, so it’s really 16 masks if you feel like saving half. Your suppose to use this twice a week to achieve healthier and plumper looking skin. I’ve used this a couple of times and I am so surprised by how it makes my face feel. It’s so smooth and soft. It smells just like coconut (which is one of my favorite smells) and it creamy and slides onto my skin smoothly.

I applied a liberal amount in a circular motion to my skin and sit around for 15 minutes. As a warning try not to touch your face or accidentally brush up against something. This mask does not really harden or dry, it stays pretty moist and can get messy if you are not careful. I found the mask a little hard to wash off since it is so thick and creamy, but surprisingly it’s easy to wash out of my hair.

My face felt incredibly smooth and Hydrated. I followed the mask up with my usual routine of toner, serum and moisterizer.

This is perfect for sensitive skin!
