You would never expect that a $4 palette named Rose All Day can work so well but ELF Cosmetics seem to be able to consistently give quality products at affordable prices.
I got this palette as a free gift in a past order, but with fall approaching I was finally able to break this baby out. It blends well together and actually does not have too much fallout. Of course, I do recommend using primer when using this, but I do recommend that for any eyeshadow.
The color doesn’t quite remind me of Rose considering the name, honestly it just looks like different variations of brown. However, I can’t fault it considering that this is Vegan and Cruelty free.
As you know from my first post Make up cuts 1 I am trying to go through the enormous amount of make up I have collected and just get rid of those I know I did not like, I don’t use or is just not the colors for me. So I have a couple of more products to bring to you.
Covergirl Plumpify Blastpro Mascara
This was such a disappointing mascara. It was suppose to add volume to my lashes, and while it did add some volume it didn’t really do anything to them. Waste of money.
Mullein & Sparrow all nature lip and cheek tint
I really wanted to like this product. It’s vegan friendly and cruelty free so when I got the product in one of my beauty subscription boxes I was excited. I tried it on my cheeks first and the color just wasn’t me. I decided to use it on my lips and just made it feel unpleasant and scratchy.
BH Cosmetics California Collection sample
I also got this product in one of my beauty subscription boxes, I however just didn’t get around to using it, and just never felt the need to. I will say I did try it once, but wasn’t too big a fan. Plus I have so many shadows that I really love to use that these sort of just got put on the wayside.
So far I know I haven’t made too much of a dent in my current stash, but they say ‘slow and steady wins the race’ (I know I’m not racing but whatevs)
Today I have another ELF product to review. Prisim Eye-shadow Palette in Sunset. I have a couple of ELF shadows and I have yet to be disappointed with any of them. The Prism palette is a bit smaller than most palettes I own, with six colors ranging from a soft pink to a lovely purple this palette does encompass the colors one would find in a sunset
