I’ve been trying to thrift more clothing lately. Not only to save money, but one of my cousins who has always worked in high fashion has recently begun to be an advocate of thrifting. Apparently, fashion is the 3rd biggest pollution industry in the world! Anyway, I’ve decided to try Thredup They recently had a 40% off deal that I just couldn’t pass up. First of I gotta say it was incredibly easy purchasing the clothing, plus I actually trust the site to have quality control and make sure everything was of good quality. I always get nervous buying clothes online and I think buying used/thrift clothing is even worse.
The brown Maurice jacket is really comfortable, not as warm as I was hoping it would be. I love the zip up and the giant buttons. I have a thing for giant buttons! Since we moved here to Idaho winters are colder so I’ve been looking for warm jackets that don’t drain my bank account.
I really love the star burgundy Zara cardigan is really warm, almost warmer than the jacket. It is also the most comfortable cardigan EVER! Okay, that may be an overdramatization since I have not worn every cardigan, but it’s close. It is a bit chunky but I love it. There are also 2 small pockets on the front for carrying small things if needed.
The Gloria Vanderbilt Kakis are exactly what they are. There seems to be some slight fading but it’s not so bad. there is zipper at the knee so you can make them shorts on warmer days.
The pink and black Annabelle dress is gorgeous, I bought it especially for my company Christmas party. It’s slightly thinner than I thought it would be and I hope it is not see through. If it is, a slip should suffice!
What do you think of my haul? Have you ever tried ThredUp?
It is going to be a while before I start taking pictures of outfits with me in it. Mostly because of the whole house thing. Once we move and get settled in I do plan to wear the outfits and take pictures. For now, I hope you can deal with my flatlays.
I was feeling pretty and girly today so I wanted something to match my mood. This dress absolutely does. The flowers are so pretty and colorful that I needed to wear it. The one thing though is that this is completely a summer dress since the material is so thin. I wasn’t drawn away from it though.
Seriously isn’t this such a gorgeous coloring? I felt really feminine in it. This dress would be perfect for a summer date night. I paired the dress with some brown booties
and a wooden pink deer necklace that I have been wanting to wear and I felt the coloring matched perfectly.
The one thing I will say is that with this dress if you order it you really have to size up as it runs about 2 sizes too small.
If you want to purchase the dress you can do so HERE
It’s been a while since I’ve gotten a Golden Tote and I am so happy I am able to get one now. I really love the bag, it reminds me of my hometown, which sort of gives me a bit of homesickness but it’s okay. I ordered the Mini Tote since it was in my price budget
I picked this shirt because of the bright green color, I love wearing green and so this caught my eye. It’s perfect for work. It is a little boxy on me but not enough for me to return it.
Haha, sorry you could see my foot but I was a bit rushed in taking these pictures. I am not sure how I feel about the dress, the material is light and perfect for summer but it is a bit see through and kinda long for my height. I think I will keep it though since I do really like the pattern.
I’m thinking about getting a mystery tote next time, it’s slightly more money but I like to be surprised
What do you think about the Golden Tote.

If I asked you if you were happy with your body what would be your response? Would you be the confident one who would say that you love your body, or are you the type to immediately wish I had asked another question. Are you like me and you don’t have a definitive answer.
