I think pretty much everyone has seen Jessica Jones by now on Netflix. Over Thanksgiving break I settled in and watched it and I thought I would share with you all how I thought it was. Warning This will contain spoilers to the first season!
So in one day I feel like I’ve gotten a ton of bad news. I’m not going to share what it is, at least not today, but I will share with you today how I get through my bad news days and maybe help you when you get bad news.
So I’ve seen quite a few bloggers do this and I was intrigued by the idea so I thought Why not? I have so many samples I’ve gotten that it seems like a shame that I don’t share my experiences of actually using the samples, especially if I purchase the product afterwards.
Today’s samples is HEY HONEY take it off exfoliating honey peel off mask. I’m not normally a big fan of honey (It’s sticky and tends to get everywhere) but I am such a big fan of peel off masks. The size sample I got was enough for 2-3 uses.
Hey Honey peel off mask was easy to use, it spread easily across my face and didn’t goop everywhere like some masks I’ve had before. It dried evenly which was great and it also peeled off really well. Be careful not to get any product in your eyebrows or in your hair as it was super tough to get out .
As well as going on well, it made my skin feel so soft and clean. I am totally going to get the full size as soon as I run out of my current peel off mask.
Let me share with you all how my November went!
So this month was all about Me, Me, Me.
- I dyed my hair

So as you can see I took time to just relax and work on somethings.
So I’ve recently been wanting to try out more liquid liners, but with my current money situation (or lack there of ) I haven’t had a chance to purchase any new liners. Thank you ELF and their affordable cosmetics.
I’ve recently obtained their Precision Liquid Eyeliner in black and to be honest I’ve had my doubts. While I absolutely adore most of their products I have not had any luck with any of their liners. I’m not sure if it’s because my lids are oily or their formula is wonky, but most of their liners smear, crack or run and by the end of the day I look a mess. Read more
So I’ve explained recently how I’ve been trying to fit blogging into my schedule lately. I love blogging, it’s therapeutic for me and I can’t see myself ever stopping. Read more
Christmas is not allowed to be talked about or celebrated until after the last Thursday in November in my house. I will seriously kick you out, doesn’t matter if your Channing Tatum or Santa Himself. ‘Ho, Ho Ho’ your ass to the curve red cheeks! Read more
So recently I’ve found myself somehow engaged in a bet. How did I find myself in this predicament? What is the bet you ask? well let me tell you.
My husband has always had trouble gaining weight. At “6’5” there are certain weight minimums you should be and he has always been under that minimum, when I first met him he was 165 lbs and rail thin, since then he has put on more weight but still is not satisfied.
We as a society have always looked at people losing weight and have programs like weight watchers to help out, however for people like my husband who have trouble putting on the pounds and keeping it what do they have? Well I guess it would be the internet.
Anyway, since I’ve wanted to lose weight and he wants to gain weight we decided to do a wager who can lose/gain ten pounds before the other.
Now I know what you are thinking, he can just go eat tons of junk food and easily win. *Buzz* Wrong! He wants to gain healthy muscle and fat, meaning his overall calorie intact will be more but is filled with Protein, Fibers with carbs thrown in. He’s not going to be wolfing down Big Macs anything soon.
Now if he wins he gets bragging rights (Meaning he can throw it in my face whenever he wants and I just take it) and the permission to call me ‘Biscuit’ (another story for another time). If I win he must take me on a shopping spree to wherever I want which he must attend and carry my bags.
Wish me luck!
So I took a little time off to just relax and de-stress, but I’m back and I brought a new lip product to review! I’ve recently made purchased a couple of products from E.L.F Cosmetics and of them is the E.L.F Studio Gotta Glow Lip Tint. I was super interested in this because of this lipstick is suppose to react to your chemistry and give you a lip color that is perfectly yours.
‘This innovative lip tint reacts with the chemistry of your lips to deliver a personalized, perfect shade of pink! The ethereal hue gives a sheer flush of color that enhances the natural beauty of your lips. The gel-based formula glides on smoothly and is infused with Shea Butter to moisturize and nourish.’
So to be honest I did not think this would work well, but not only do I love it, it also hydrates my lips so well. The color it gives me is a sort of dark hot pink which surprisingly matches well with my skin tone and seems to just blend seamlessly on my lips. I keep this lip tint at work and I only have to re apply it once or maybe twice a work day. Also it does not stain coffee cups so that starbucks lid stays surprisingly clean and doesn’t look like a clown is drinking it.
I recommend this for anyone who is on a budget that needs a lip tint that compliments them.
See ya soon!
