Beauty: Undone Beauty – Multi-dimensional Holographic Mascara

I’ve recently discovered Undone Beauty this cute little brand from Amazon. It intrigued me because not only are they affordable, and I am always looking for that beauty deal, but they are Vegan and Cruelty-Free!

I purchased a set of three products, but today I want to focus the attention on the Multi-Dimensional Holographic Mascara in Black Lapis. According to Undone Beauty :

Undone Beauty’s Light On Mascara is formulated with light-reflecting pigments that provide dimension and shine to dull lashes for a multi-dimensional, cool blue black lash look. Made with castor oil for lash nourishment and conditioning. Ophthalmologist tested – safe for contact lens wearers.

-Taken from Undone Beauty

While I can see the little light reflecting pigments when I look at the mascara I am not sure that I see that on my lashes. I think I would have to do a side by side comparison to really tell, but I have yet to do that. The mascara is easy to put on and it didn’t weigh down my mascara like I thought it may. While I noticed it didn’t add too much in the way of Length it did add a nice amount of volume and because of the light-weight formula I was able to layer it (and not have it clump up!) to my desire.

While I think it can work for those days I am feeling especially glamorous, I think it serves better as a everyday natural mascara. Plus at being less than $7 I think it’s pretty damn good to use it regularly!

Sea Turtle Charm Bracelet

It’s been a while since I’ve shared some jewelry with you all, it’s not that I don’t have any but it has been a while since I have gotten some new ones.

I was recently contacted by Two Drops of Love to see if I wanted to try out their Sea Turtle Charm Bracelet

I went with Yellow but they have 10 colors total which includes black, pink, green, blue and many more. being that is it fall, and I mostly wear browns and dark colors a little yellow to brighten my day is a good thing. The yellow is bright and pigmented and stands out.

The charm is small but stays centered when I have it on, the bracelet is adjustable so it fits most wrists. My bracelet lasted months and actually just recently fell, not sure if the legend is true with the wishes, get back to me in a couple of weeks. Even if it does not come true I still like the Idea behind it, makes me feel younger.

The Sea Turtle isn’t the only thing from Two Drops of love that I am interested in. I really love their Glow in the Dark Moon Necklace as well as the Light Blue Flower Ring

Take a look, the prices at affordable and I have no complaints!

Beauty: ELF Sculpting Silk Eyeshadow

You would never expect that a $4 palette named Rose All Day can work so well but ELF Cosmetics seem to be able to consistently give quality products at affordable prices.

I got this palette as a free gift in a past order, but with fall approaching I was finally able to break this baby out. It blends well together and actually does not have too much fallout. Of course, I do recommend using primer when using this, but I do recommend that for any eyeshadow.

The color doesn’t quite remind me of Rose considering the name, honestly it just looks like different variations of brown. However, I can’t fault it considering that this is Vegan and Cruelty free.

Beauty: Julie Nail Polish

Golden Sunset

I was looking for a nail polish that was appropriate for fall but still reminded me of the sunshine of summer. I think I found the perfect shade in JulieG Golden Sunset. This is actually from the brand Jesse’s Girl which they recently started stocking at my nearest Rite Aid.

While I thought the color would have a more gold bronze tone to it, on my nail it actually reminded me of Rose Gold, which is not a bad thing at all. The polish is a little thin but I found if I layered it too much it chips a little too easy.

I think I would like to layer this over another color, a brown or even a orange it could go well.

Internship Life

Working in the coroner’s office has a way of making you face mortality. There are just so many ways to die, and to be confronted with it on a daily basis is a hard thing to do.

I wish I could say it gets easier but it doesn’t.

I’m lucky enough to have a great support system, and to be around people that do the exact same as me. The one thing that this internship has forced me to do is find humor again because you need humor in order to do a job like this.

There is also something to be said when you actual hold a human heart in your hands, or pretty much any organ to be honest. The contrast of each organ which each other, and to see it all actually fit in the human body is kinda weird.

My internship ends in December and it is an experience I can say that I won’t forget.
