So, I wanted to redesign my blog to suit how I want to be rebranded. Unfortunately, it’s taking longer than I would like. I wanted to have a grand opening, but I decided instead of letting my blog sit unused I wanted to start posting again! Well it’s March, my birthday month! I’m turning 31 and I really want to start being the person I want to be end up being. I am hoping to do more outdoor activities and more lifestyle aimed posts while still doing beauty and fashion. So stay tuned!
Also, if there is something that you want to see on this blog I would love to hear all about it!
After I use any clay masks or Detox masks I always use a Sheet Mask. It is typically the best way to moisturize my face after going through a harsher mask. After using the Pink Clay mask I picked this beauty up to try out.
There was so much essence in the pack, and when I took the mask out it was drenched. This of course made the mask a bit hard to unfold as it kept sticking together. It also made it ridiculously easy to stay on my face.
While it fit pretty well over most of my face, it did not cover my nose at all, which was a bit disappointing as my nose is usually the place that I have no problem with. I left the mask on for around 30 mins and it still was pretty wet when I took it off. My face felt amazing though! so soft, smooth and hydrated. I think I dare even say one of the best sheet masks I have ever used. I know Kohls sells this for around $3.99 which isn’t too bad. I will definitely be buying more once I run out of masks.
I had really high hopes for this mask. I’ve been seeing Sand & Sky Purifying Pink Clay Mask everywhere and I really want to try it. I finally got a sample in my Birchbox. I used it on a particularly bad skin week, the winter weather was especially brutal on my skin and I could physically feel my skin becoming horrid.
I was really surprised at how runny this was. Typically clay masks are thick and smooth.
The mask did go on smooth, but I was surprised at how light the pink coloring was, it looked always white. It came off super easy, so I didn’t have to scrub at my skin.
Sand & Sky boasts that this mask reduces pores, brightens & detoxifies skin. I can say that my skin looked amazing after use. It pretty much caused my brittle, cracked, dry and porous skin to do a 360. I am seriously debating if $50 is worth it for this mask because I really liked it and may purchase it. I would love to see how this mask does after multiple uses.
Do you own Sand & Sky Pink Clay Mask?
I did not do too well in 2017. I sort of threw all the resolutions I had out the window. I lost a lot of motivation and really just stopped taking care of myself. I am hoping to change all that. It will require a lot of work on my part physically and mentally but I am willing to try (there is no try, only do or not do. Totally quoted that wrong…)
So this is a general resolutions list really.
- Be more Active!
- Drink more water
- Don’t be afraid to try new things
- Post more on the blogs.
- Take more time for yourself
So that’s my list. I will start with small goals that eventually lead to a bigger goal. I’ll try to keep track of any progress so that I can keep you all updated!
So I am really trying to get rid of my samples because as you can see I have a ton of these. I’ve already used a couple too!
What I have used was:
Urban Decay – Original Primer Potion (worked good)
Makeup Forever Foundation – (Too yellow for me, need to find the right shade)
Too Faced Shadow Insurance – (i’ve used this before and I love it!)
So far that is it, but I’ll definitely be using more!
Just wanted to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving. My husband is on call so we won’t be celebrating until tomorrow. Hope everyone eats well!
I meant to post this last Sunday but with our move and everything it seemed to have been pushed back a week. Either way Let’s do this!
As you all know Sundays are my pamper days and I always try to pamper my skin. I’m thirty now this is so very important to me, I really don’t want to look like a wrinkled leather handbag. I actually got these lovelies a little while ago and now I have finally had a chance to use them! I am so glad I did too because they worked great. Hanaka Hydrogel Lip and Eye Patches are meant as moisture boosters and to relieve any irritation you may have. I have really sensitive skin, plus anything with fragrance usually makes my eyes water so I don’t use eye patches as much as I want. The eye patches did not have any fragrance stuck to my eyes and gave it a nice boost. I believe the lip patches were fruit scented, I think it was strawberry. It was really light though so you don’t really notice. I really do recommend anyone who needs a burst of hydration to their irritated skin.
So great news! We got our house! After so much stress and headaches, everything finally paid off. I am so happy right now. We, of course, have to still go through the stress of moving but Hopefully, all the stars will be aligned soon and I can share my home designing process.
Anyway, I made my first purchase of the house. It’s not a big thing as we are kind of broke right now, but it’s important enough to mention. With our new house, we now have a guest bathroom. You know that bathroom that has the pretty towels, spotless sink and pretty soaps, yea you know the one. So I decided I needed pretty soaps for the bathroom.
While no obviously these soaps are not practical they are beautiful and made of all natural ingredients too! I love the pink colors and of course, i’ll have to match all the colors in my bathroom now. My favorite is the light pink.
I think these little soaps would make a great alternative to real flowers as these won’t die unless you want them to (just get them wet). They do work exactly like soaps do, so if you need to clean your hands it works.
If you would like to purchase these beauties you can do so HERE
