I have a constant battle with my lips. They always seem dry, cracked, chapped and just (to me) plain unattractive and with how many matte lipsticks I seem to always want to buy this is just unacceptable. So when I heard about ELF lip exfoliator I decided to give it a try, and at $3 why shouldn’t I.
- Smells good
- Feels soft
- Easy to carry and stash away
- Love the price
What it’s suppose to do?
- Revitalize lips
- Condition lips
- Helps with chaps and dryness
What is in it?
- Vitamin E
- Shea Butter
- Jojoba oils
So I really like the ELF Lip Exfoliator, it’s easy to use, is not messy and I can take it anywhere. While it still hasn’t completely solved my lip situation I can see it’s helping. So if you have a problem with your lips you should definitely pick this up.
I’ve been trying to use more serums and facial products lately. I feel that since I’m getting closer to my thirties I should definitely take more care of my skin. One of my favorite things to use are vitamin c serums. I feel like they make my skin feel great while giving it a healthy glow.
Oz Natural Vitamin C Serum has been pretty great so far. The serum absorbs quickly into my skin, so I don’t have to waste any time waiting for it to dry. My schedule lately has been more busy than I like so this is great.
Although I like to use my serums before bed time, this one seems to be more beneficial if I use it in the morning since it perks my skin up, so I’m going to have to switch my routine bit.
One of things that somewhat upsets me is the fact that this serum is a bit on the thin side. I like my serums a bit on the thick side.
20% vitamin c and Hyaluronic acid are the two active ingredients in this serum and is meant to brighten skin.
I do like this serum though I do wish it was a bit thicker.

So this is fast becoming a fave brand of mine. Valentia so far has not let me down and still hasn’t. I love this detoxifying Clay mask.
So that’s it that’s the review, you can pretty much stop reading I gave my opinion away.
Oh, your still reading this? Good.
Let me explain why this stuff is great. Besides it being a clay mask (I’m sure you guys already know this about me but I LOVE MASKS!), this has some pretty awesome stuff for your skin.
First, Cleanses and exfoliates due to the Kaolin Clay which is used to draw out impurities. Secondly, It uses hibiscus and Cranberry fibers to help boost Collagen and help with Anti-anging. I just noticed I use a lot of anti-aging face care stuffs, must be why I still get carded for rated R movies when I’m almost 30. Thirdly, using CoQ10 (which is a Natural antioxidant) it helps Reduces wrinkles.
When I first used this Detox Clay mask, by the looks of it I thought it was going to be stiff and hard to use on my face, but surprisingly it was very pliable in my hands and spread easily across my cheeks, chin, forehead and nose. it took around 20 mins to dry which I then wiped off my face using a towelette and warm water.
My skin felt AMAZING after using this, plus it didn’t irritate my sensitive skin at all!

It’s been cold and rainy this winter here in Southern California and the weather has been wreaki8ng havoc on my skin. My Face especially. Fortunately for me I’ve been in contact with Valentia and I was offered to try their new Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask.
Valentia’s Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask (another long name!) is suppose to leave you with intense hydrated, younger looking skin (Not that I want to look any younger. Anyone else almost thirty getting carded for rated R movies?). This mask contains Silk Protein Amino Acids, Botanical Hyaluronic acid, Vitamini E and CoQ10 which helps boost elasticity.
So I applied the product all over my face in a thin layer, you can leave the product on for 15-30 minutes. I usually left it on for 30. The mask cautions that you will feel a slight tingling sensation (Not burning, this is very important!)
The mask looks like banana pudding and I giggled when I first had to dip my fingers in to apply it to my face. While the product was cold I was surprised by it’s light weight feel. It was almost light I wasn’t wearing anything at all on my face which I liked. I also felt no tingling sensation, but I was not so disappointed about that.
After using this product for a month my face is looking very hydrated and I have no annoyingly dry patches on my face that usually comes during this time of the year.

What are you currently using to combat the cold weather?
I got this sample in one of my Birchboxes. This was during the time when Birchbox kept sending me nothing buy moisturizers and cleansers, so it took me a while to actually use it.
The sample size was pretty great, lasting about 4 to 5 washes. For being a detox wash, I didn’t feel any difference from my normal cleanser I use.
Most likely I won’t be purchasing this because of the ‘non-wow’ factor I got.
I may have mislead you kittens. This post is not about sex, I won’t be suddenly giving out the juicy details on that part of my life.
No, I’m here to bring to you Too Faced 3 way lash lining too eyeliner (is it just me or are names getting super long?)
This eyeliner can be used three ways
- Lash Emphasizing
Dot between lases for a fuller lash line
- Tight lining
Drawing a tight line alone the water line
- Eye Lining
Triple tip lings for a think rich black line
So I won’t beat around the bush, I love this liner. It is my new must have, must us, just it’s a must! Although a bit unusual with it’s three tips, it was super easy to use. The application was smooth, the black is super pigmented, and it stay put all day with no smudges.
I don’t think I have to tell you what my bottom line is (Buy it!).
One thing I will say is that it’s on the pricey side, but this is one of those products where the quality shines through!
So, What liner are you currently crushing on?
So Today I want to talk about a new shampoo and conditioner I’m using. Not Your Mother’s Way to grow Long and Strong Shampoo and Condtioner (Wow That’s a lot of words). I picked it up recently because I’m trying to grow out my hair while not sacrificing the quality of my hair.
Not Your Mother’s Way to Grow Long and strong shampoo and conditioner promises to make your hair stronger, healthier and longer.
So my hair does feel strong and healthy however, is my hair longer? Eh, most likely not, at least I don’t see a bog difference in length. I really like the smell of this stuff and even my husband compliments the smell. however, The one thing that bothers me is I feel like this stuff runs out quick. Maybe I’m just using too much?
Anyway, I do recommend this product for anyone that needs a shampoo to strengthen their hair.
So every Sunday night I like to do what I call ‘Facial Fun Time’. On this day I like to use new face and hair products and just give my face that bit of extra boost for the week to come.
This past sunday I used my sample of Caudalie Instant Detox Mask. I’ve never used any Caudalie products before so I had no high or low expectation going in. The sample was a bit tiny but theres a surprisingly large amount of product, you can easily get a least two uses from it.
The Mask spread easily and you only need a thin layer on your face. It takes about 10 minutes to dry. When I put it on I felt a tingling sensation right away. It was not painful but just felt weird. I took it to mean it was working and my face just really needed it. (may have been a mistake)
I noticed it did not dry evenly, not sure why that is. It was also surprisingly dificult to clean off my face. I used warm water and a clean wash cloth. I had to go over my face several times before I got the mask completely off.
My skin is very sensative and when I was dome getting the mask off, my face was very red and irritated.
So it’s safe to say this is not recommended for sensitive skin, and because of that I will not be purchasing the fill size.
Today I have another ELF product to review. Prisim Eye-shadow Palette in Sunset. I have a couple of ELF shadows and I have yet to be disappointed with any of them. The Prism palette is a bit smaller than most palettes I own, with six colors ranging from a soft pink to a lovely purple this palette does encompass the colors one would find in a sunset
